What so it looks like every other generic shitbox jdm wanna be turd rocket.

Ive made it exactly how i wanted it. Wheels are genuine work equips, rear guards are 50mm widebody and the front wheels already poke. I dont need any camber as the car is setup for circuit. Twin pipes would look ratty and not exactly what im after. The cannons look fine IRL.

It might not look like all the other hellflush dicksuck s13's but function > form.

Good point now that u mentioned that, it needs 2 be lower or look lower tho?

As it is it's already illegal as the lowest hanging part of the car is the exhaust and its below 100mm clearance. It was higher before.

I need to get the exhaust fabricated and taken up closer to the body, then I can lower it. But as it stands at the moment, it handles flawlessly, which is the primary point of the car as its my track car. It's just road registered.

You have basically used brand new parts on everything, right? How much of the engine/gearbox could be considered new? Did you reset the odometer reading? Genuinely curious smile.gif

Well for a start in the first post it says the engine has 89,000km. I would hardly call that 'new'.

Pretty much everything is brand new aftermarket, new OEM nissan parts or excellent condition second hand (Interior parts etc)

Mark is right, Engine has 89,xxx on it and the chassis has 155k on it according to the last recorded KM at qld transport so I found an odometre that read 156k to match it as close as possible.

The diff has been shimmed and reconditioned. The gearbox was fine when I pulled it open and had a look and it feels nice and tight. The engine runs nice and smoothly as well.

All suspension parts are brand new.

How much different does it feel in comparison to a normal s13? I imagine it would be noticeable with the new suspension components, sound deadening, an actual interior etc. Every s13 I have been in rode badly.

+1
as stiff as a bag of wet noodles and all hectic stripped out to the point where the exhaust vibrations made it sound like you are talking through a fan

that's why i like this build! done nice with a lot of effort

It doesn't feel like an s13 haha. Evaded has driven it a decent amount and he was quite impressed with how it handled and feels.

It is great on the highway as well, nice and smooth, not too bumpy. The sound deadening makes a huge difference. Feels a lot more solid.

I was at Powercruise, but was too drunk to drive to visit. It was like a keyboard warrior showdown.

Haha bob i have nfi what you are talking about!

The cannons look fine IRL, they look kinda gumby in the pics i admit.

Corine from commercial Brisbane ..... Wanted to know something or other so she could go be a tart a PC , Ended in back trace and some hero wanting to bash you but didn't end up showing.....

Or was that another time tongue.gif

OT nice car btw I am STILL not fan of how you have mounted the gauges however the rest of the car looks mint for its age smile.gif

OH haha I remember now.

So many backtraces, so many rage.

It's a pretty standard spot for the gauges! The old owner had holes there so i figured I would use them keep ti clean.

the OCD in me hates that the body is so straight and clean (an S13 rarity!) but the front lip is broke tongue.gif
good work though man. i like the weather strips - neat touch

And the big hole where the Ac / head unit should be ! But this s13 is definitely one of the best built going around. Also big plus with the functional wheels and suspension set up.

looks good, however bit of advice.. it looks like the alloy radiator isn't mounted correctly.. (it will suffer from electrolysis)

Not sure what you mean mate, it's fitted fine. Its a powered by max rad, fits into the OEM spot.

I'm pretty sure he means that the brackets holding your radiator in place are metal and are making contact with the radiator itself. It basically means that it is grounded and electricity is passing through it. I corroded the core of my Koyorad in my skyline in less than a year due to a similar reason.

There is rubber grommets separating them.
