Engine: 250cc

Exhaust: Musarri slip on

Suspension: Stock (Preload setting on 3)

Modifications: Just slip on exhaust and fender eliminator. Only plan on keeping bike for around 12 months

Estimated Power: Stock

I bought this bike to learn on and think it's perfect for the job. I commute on it, and have gone from a $70/week fuel bill to around $10-15/week. (And loads more smiles). I plan on upgrading to an R6 in 12 months and may the smiles continue. Also, the pic of me on the bike is for reference purposes. I'm 6"1.

Yeah I wasn't 100% on getting the exhaust but am glad I did. (any noise is better than no noise IMO)
It sounds nice and deep until around 6000rpm, then it turns into an annoying buzz.
I see you have an R1 though, so I can understand your point, lol

Providing you don't flog it to redline. Actually heard one of these in Nebo today and had to laugh for some reason. Your choice with what you do but the main thing is that your on a bike which i respect.

Pretty good bike for the money can't find much better. Agreed on them sounding pretty shit though. Bird I was dating had one and I felt extremely cramped on it, also being about 6'1.

guy at work has one of these n lets me ride it home for lunch, i am 192cm and feel very cramped on it ( knees dont fit under the tank bluge properly) lower pegs would proply fix that but might cause problems laying it down a bit?, rode my other mates 2013 ninja 300... world of difference.. fit on it well, sounds (slightly) better & actualy has some poke just feels more like a big bike. cool bike anyways man.. id be on one if i could fit.

Yeah I feel pretty comfortable when i'm upright just cruising, but when I give it full throttle there's no way I can lie on the tank. I just have to lean forward as best I can. I actually wanted the Ninja 300 but was told by the Dealer there would be a 6 month wait. I'm far too impatient to have waited another 6 months.

An R6 will be a nice upgrade! There will be a bit more room, I too am 6'1" and had nothing to really complain about room wise on my 07 R6 (and lets face it, the R6 hasn't had a major update since 06), though the position will be more than likely less upright.

Nice mate. I'm 5"2 so can't be much help, haha

Not a bad little bike... Still not a fan of aftermarket pipes on them though...

Hey bud, I bought it second hand for around 5G. I'm not sure what they cost new.

Should call up Jim's mowing. Grass needs cutting and patio needs a sweep lol....

OT: I am a fan of the green, but nice bike in the end, especially for 5k.
