Filled up the washer bottle.

I still for the life of me can't understand how that is a defect.

Ot: over the last week, removed tint, fitted new wheels, installed manual boost controller, new spark plugs and coil packs one happy camper smile.gif

Changed the strut bar to chassis bushes. Difference is incredible! The brakes feel that much more responsive, and the stability of the car under brakes has increased dramatically! Only took me about an hour as well, very easy to do. Can not speak highly enough of the Nolathane 48166 kit!

Old, shitty bushes.

Pretty new red Nolathane ones!

For sale: 2 genuine GM strut bar to chassis bushes. Second hand, only fitted once! For inquiries and inspection, please see the wheelie bin on my nature strip.

Ah, response. It's the thing you get when you give up ride quality.

I'd poly bush my but can't be bothered unless the bushes are fcuked.

Replaced the front wheel bearings after the front left started making a horrible whining when i tried to drive to the shops the other day. sure enough the old bearings were surrounded by metal shavings, since the grease was red i have a suspicion that the last time the bearings were done, somebody may have picked up rubber grease instead of Bearing grease unsure.gif

Been explained before a few times..

Let's say a bird takes a giant shit/a mud puddle gets sprayed/dust from the dirt road you're on/1,000 angry bees smash into your windscreen while you're driving.. Your automatic reaction is to pull back on the wipers to squirt some onto the screen.. Right? Well empty bottle, you get nothing, but the wipers start working. Now you have bird shit/mud/dust/bugs smeared all over your windscreen rather than being cleaned off because you have no water.

All of the above today; plugs, manifold insulators, and water inlet seals.

After two emergency trips to Repco (First because one of the bolts for the inlet housing snapped, and second because one of the coils came apart) it's all back together now. Just waiting on the silicon to dry.

sold the skyline. i will miss her, until i get something better and then i probably wont

What do those manifold insulators do? Are they the same idea as what they make for WRX. Slightly increasing the intake runner length making for ever so slight increase in torque?

TwinCam16
Post #2077

Pretty much, also the spacing from the block is meant to drop intake temps.
It's more a "pissing into the wind" mod like a pod filter to be honest.

Went to install my prototype 3-step rev limiter;
Engine running like shit and white smoke from exhaust out of nowhere, didn't finish installing rev limiter.
Hopefully it's not raining tomorrow so I can diagnose the engine problems and install the limiter. BHG would suck ass.

Found that my bodge fix of my drivers door cable is failing, devised new way of opening door from the inside. A combination of pushing the door and pulling the handle at the same time in one swift move, give the door somewhat of a kick while pulling the handle sharply.
