ok..... just for everyones reference..... the reason this doesn't look "slammed" is because it runs on 15's.... guard gap is a problem on s-chassis with little wheels and low profile. as it currently sits, i can't get it in my own driveway. i hope to sell it without wheels so the new owner can throw some 16's or 17s on it. i go for width and offset > diameter.

also.... it runs -2.5deg. camber in the front and -4.5deg camber in the back approximately.

yeah, that's probably why to my eye it'd look better with some fat rubber with decent sidewall. but i guess tyre options in 15" are pretty limited too.

yeah when you're after something that sticks well... however the options are still much better than 14's. and much cheaper than 16's. ideally i wanted something in a 55 or 60 profile for the front, but i got the re-01's for free and i just haven't gotten around to hunting down something better yet.... my accord euro has federal 595evo all round and they are brilliant in the dry.... but scary bad in the wet..... i was looking at these or perhaps some yoko - Sdrives when i get around to it.

i got my set in 235/35/18 and 265/30/18 for like $800. felt a little bit squirrely at first but for the price can't complain

tell me sweetheart. exactly what makes YOUR stagea so FA77 anyways? last time i looked, it has no widebody.... skinny wheels in super positive offset, and is stock and auto? the only thing worse than super expensive personalised "hey everyone look what a wanker i am" plates, is ones that aren't even suiting of the vehicle they're bolted to.

and the last time i checked..... a PAIR (not a set) of my wheels in my size and offset are not going for much less than 1000-1200 bucks without tyres..... that is of course if you can find them in my size and offset, which in itself quite a task. but you probably don't know about the trials and tribulations faced when sourcing good japanese wheels because you are quite happy to bolt generic chinese crap on the feet of your car.

and last time i checked..... the average price of 6spd accord euros (one of my 3) was above that of "just modified enough to drop the value" automatic bottom spec stageas.

I like what you've done with the front half of the car. 180 front end is much better then the Silvia front end. The engine is nice and different (I've always wondered why more SR20 guys haven't gone the GTi-R ITB route). I think there is a bit to much gap from tyre to guard in the front, but the rims are a great selection... but unfortunately (For me)... the further back you go... the worst it gets.

Not feeling the "flared" guards what so ever, and the very cheap paint job. If you went for the "matt" look all over, it could have worked, but considering there is some gloss, some "matt/bad paint" and some fading it doesn't work - Even if it is all one colour.

thanks dude. i appreciate your feedback, the paintjob originally looked a lot better.... but it sat baking in the sun for almost a year after that which has taken it's toll, i had to look at my options when deciding how i was gonna fit 9.5" -27 wheels under it, pumping the guards that far would have looked retarded, and flareswould only have worked if i modified the front guards too..... which i didn't want to do, so i opted for widebody guards. i am never expecting for a second that this car will be to everyone's taste. but i think it's awesome. i have owned a few s13's now..... and this is my favourite one.

This thread is for members to show off their vehicles for others to admire and comment on etc. 99% of the time if you put a POS car on here and say, Hey this is my POS car I know it's a POS but I'm working on it etc. No one gives 2 dicks about the car and everyone goes on their merry way. You will find people actually do give you positive criticisms or suggestions on how to improve the car.

HOWEVER
If you're a dick like this guy, who advertises his car as "BEST P-PLATE SILVIA IN QLD... ITB's LIKE A BOSS! " or "pretty much the sickest registered NA silvia out there." and says things like "so yeah... car is funking dope, and it breaks necks. " and comes across like a complete wanker. Of course the rest of us are going to abuse the crap out of him...

bolting on the ITB's isn't the hard part..... getting a nissan to run without an AFM is the hard part. there is a good reason more sr20 guys don't go this route. it is expensive for the relatively minimal power..... all up i haven't seen change from $3500 to set up these throttles. granted there was some money lost in pioneering (as this is uncommon there is not a lot of helpful information available)... but for that kind of money, most people will just drop a turbo in. more power for cheaper.....


also @_hate (your name seems fitting).... my opinion of my car is my opinion..... i don't care if you agree.... i love this car. i think it's the best s13 out there.... it's certainly my favourite, if for no other reason than it's MINE..... this car was %100 bog stock when i bought it bar a paint job that makes it's current one look autosalon-worthy. everything that has been done to this car was done the way i wanted it..... it's not some "near enough is good enough" thing i bought off someone else..... it's MINE..... and i like it the way it is..... if i didn't live in the city and have more cars than garages then i would keep it....

.... bottom line is.... i love my car.... and people who know this style love it too. quit hatin and learn how to be confident in yourself. i am. and i'm not afraid to say how i feel.
