I must say, some modded cars are slightly safer than the factory standard edition.

Government is to blame for the death toll.

If changes were made to the licensing system (and other add-ons) then it will be slightly better (this costs too much), but getting new speed/radar detectors make so much more money.

Wish cops would setup one of those meets they had years back where that space/car park next to Toombul shopping centre was setup for Thursday night meets and no harm was done.

Also who's going tonight?

Pretty sure the po po are nothing but pigs, all they set up the defect station for is their weekly Coppa revenue fundraiser.

to put a perspective on it,

<get pulled over

< told: Exhaust looks too big, car looks too low, battery is not secure, pod is not secure and there is no mmod plate for my turbo however i was co-operating well so i will only be charged with a warning and a 300 dollar fine.

facts:

Exhaust is 3" (not too big not illegal)

Battery was unmovable till the cop shook it vigerously side to side (shaking the whole car mind you) until the hold down for the battery broke off bending the guard on my car.

no measurement for my car was taken, i know for a fact that a full tank of petrol and all seats occupied my car sits on 110mm which is well within the legal limit.

the pod filter he couldnt move no matter how hard he shook it so he said that i need to cover it up.

and my car is a JDM s15 which comes FACTORY with a turbo (and yes i still have the factory turbo on it and its still hidden under the factory exhast manifold)

Rang a lawyer and he said that "i should pay the fine and get on with life because at the end of the day there are 2 cops and one you, no one will believe the import driver over the police no matter how dirty the coppa is, thats life"

Were and easy target for Police fundraising, thats it. none of these "keeping the peace, protecting the public, lowering the road toll" fairy tales were fed.

never been to harry's since. dont get me wrong, its a lovely place and a great idea and i had alot of fun the times i did go, but its not worth the "bogus fine(s)" + demerit point(s) pricetag.

Nobody goes there, who would want to? 15 year old out the front telling you to spin 'em, causing the po-po to come. Commys and fords pegging it up the street while the people who enjoy cars sit in the car parks trying to avoid the attention. Great place to go.

Theres heaps of new meets on thursday nights just not posted on boost..

I know theres the Stafford bunning meet around 20 cars come 7pm start then all cruise to nebo (cruise not touge run)
