Well I guess this is the only place to put a car thread, to show progress with my car as I do thing's to it wink.gif So this is my first post. At the moment it's down at Ultratune having it's 185,000Km service, and 160,000km service... I recently purchased it off my mother for a decent price. As you can see there's, abit of damage... So being my first car I'm excited obviously. You wouldn't like it done to you. The usual modifications will be done, Wheels, Springs/shocks, Extractors/Exhaust, paint repair, so on so forth.

Engine: Ecotech 3.6L V6

Exhaust: Completly Stock, for the time being.

Suspension: Stock now

Wheels: Calais 16" Stockies

Modifications: Pending

Stereo Audio / Visual: Stock for the time being

Estimated Power: 147KW stock (P Plates)

Not bad for a first.. However all your shit about " diss my car and you can just leave.." sounds to me like your not quite ready for the boost comunity. This would be lucky to make 120rwkw btw.. My 2cents.

Oh I can take it, but I rather not have to deal with it at all.

And I know, I had to think of something to put, so I put the stock power. I'm thinking of getting a new set of rockers, it seems to be one of the only engine mods (affordable) that can be done which cant be detected unless I have a full check done on my car, which isnt much power but it's only $700-1000 for low ratio's. All I'd really look for is a nice note and a nice looking car. Doesn't really matter how quickly I can get away from the lights.

Why post one pic of a stock car with half of the info provided being about how you cant take any negavtive critism. Get prepared bud cause youve got it coming to you.

nothing wrong with it mate, decent first car. Leave how it is though. More respectable how it looks now, you put stupid wheels and kit etc or whatever then its going to be a joke. Remember these cars continue to depreciate to the point of being almost worthless. Keep it clean and maintain it, save your money for something newer. You will thank yourself for it in the long run.

Oh no doubt I'm not saying I wont hoon, it's natural, even on my L's I took off from the lights to get infront of others, but It doesn't mean i'll be racing someone in a V8 or anything, so I don't really care. Yeah It'll be cool to kick kit's in their civics tongue.gif but then again, I got pooned by a civic the other day ._. In the end of the day it's all just abit of fun I guess smile.gif

Also, comparing it to my Mums Sv6 (the red car in the picture), it seems to rev a heap higher in first. I know they're different motors and boxes, but it hits 4k before going into second, yet the alloytec gets to 2k before swapping over even with my foot down.

No kit man, I absolutely hate body kits on commodores (unless stock)

This is what I want it to look like (Sorry I stole the pic's off a boost members post for selling the wheels, I want the same wheels)

So basically thats what I want the finished look to be. I understand where your coming from though. For what I spent on it I wouldn't want to spend too much on it, which would mean im not sure if Id get rockers, so on.

Ive got one of these too same colour but mines supercharged. Get the damage fixed get it detailed and just do tint, nice set of wheels, exhaust and stereo and leave it at that. It looks pretty clean and simple just leave it that way.. thats my opinion anyways but yer goodluck with future plans.

Oh and if your keen to sell the standard wheels let me know chasing a set

Imo go for something a little different. I had ssvs on my calais and black 20s and the alloy looked so much better. But thats ur choice in the end mate either way should look good.
