Engine: 7MGE, 5 Speed R154 conversion. Should be finished when I get back from Rocky next month

Exhaust: Cracked and probably flat stocko

Suspension: Shortened shocks and 'Shortened' springs

Wheels: 16x8" Rotas. Rattle can black with a sanded and polished lip.

Modifications: Clark Rubber front lip, Series 1 Grille, front right headlight and parker, rolled/pulled/cut/bashed front and rear fenders, driver foot spa (Only when it rains), deleted fuel flap, shimmed diff.

Stereo Audio / Visual: Static, diff whine and flat spots.

Estimated Power: 320,000ks on the Odometer, which conveniently doesn't work... Taking that into consideration along with the fact I'm putting equal amounts of fuel and oil into it. I'm going to say fuck all.

Future Mods: When I get back from working away; Install the manual conversion, Harnesses, Deep dish suede steering wheel (Fake OMP most likely), Window Tint, Headunit that will play something other than cassette tapes, fix a few little things (Radiator, oil cooler, thermostat.. huge list. Later on; Coilovers, N/A 1J or 2JZ (Still trying to decide. Most likely the 1JZ since I have the gearbox already), new rims.

The Silver lip photos are the most recent. Yes, the guards are taped. I cut them before I bought the Mig and never got around to buying the Mig. To save some idiot posting 'but. wat bout rust, car is so shit. my commo is heeps sicker' I have sanded and primed them.

Thank you for pointing out my 19year old car isn't in showroom condition. Minus bumper scrapes and the front fenders. You'd be very surprised.

Thank you for pointing out my 19year old car isn't in showroom condition. Minus bumper scrapes, writing on the lip, holes and dints in the boot lid, missing petrol flap, stupid shit on the rear window and the front fenders. You'd be very surprised.

It looks run down and has the kays to back it up.

This. Not everyone has enough money to buy a super awesome condition car but when you do 'mods' that wreak the car (ie guard rolling, cut springs, crap stickers etc) then the car deserves to be hated on.

Also why are you using a r154 behind a NA 7m lol? If you do end up doing an engine conversion to a 2jz ge it wont need the r154 either.

You need to bash you gaurds out slowly by levering something from between the tyre and the gaurds then cut the underiside of them with tin snips and bash the underside back in back in. Works for me.

that R154 should be able to handle a fair amount of abuse! awesome conversion + love the look of these cars too. every time i see an old person driving one of these, i wanna yell out 'THROW IN A 2JZ!!!!' wonder how theyd react?

You could have fit 10'' wide wheels on this thing and still have no need to hack the guards up the way you have.

And the oil leaks by the looks of it.

not too shabby. would dirve it as a daily hack. just on the 1j/2j statement. you say 1j coz you have the r154 box. just so you know a fair few people have chucked a r154 behind a 2j no probs (within limit tongue.gif )

10" huh? Can you see the front fenders? The tires still stick out too far. The police mention it every time...

Yes, I know it is rough. Thank you for pointing out the obvious.

The front fenders don't bother me at all, I can find a pair of silver front fenders for pretty much nothing. I just wanted the cops off my back.

The fuel cap was broken off before I got the car, I was just joking around about how dodgy it looks without it. I have a Maroon one I started sanding back and painting, I just got lazy when I stopped driving it. It's also alot harder than I thought to get the colour just right.

The gearbox choices bothered me for ages. The W58 off the 2JZ is harder to fit to a 7M. I'm also not too keen on paying twice what a 1JZ is worth for the 2JZ. I know the 1JZ will bolt up to it no worries at all. Saves the hassle later on. Unless I get a 1UZ...

the w58 is fitted to a 7m from factory, ma70 supra has it and with the engine i would go a 1j since there half the price and are reliable

Trying to find the bellhousing for the W58 to the 7M is hard. It's alright though. I have the full R154 conversion ready to go..
