You know how every fucking day someone posts what should I get because im a P plater blah blah blah well this IS what you should get. Mitsubishi FTO GPX mivec is a fucking rocket of a P plate car. Went to test one today with a mate and it fucks shit up. rolleyes.gif What ever you do DO NOT under estimate them haha. Does anyone else support the FTO's for P's

If you want straight line power they are pretty good. They do suffer from understand quite a lot though.

they look mad but a fwd n/a 4 is a piece.
fwd is soooo gay.
but i guess you p platers down there are pretty limited and if i was in your shoes (which thankfully im not) an fto would be in my top 10 choices for a p plater car

Was considering one for a while, but the import-ed ness of it and FWD kind of put me off.
Ended up with a 325i Fast and RWD =D

they are pretty gay cars to be honest. Only ever seen girls driving them. Im sure those girls didnt buy them because they think the car is the fastest thing out either.

I used to think they were ok. Till I raced one. Then realised how very slow they are. Id rather buy a Honda.

VTEC > MIVEC

I admit the back of the car is gross but the engine in them are mad fast for P's and the front is nice and the interior is jizzable

you obviously havn't driven many quick p plate legal cars if you think there amazingly fast, because there not, they go well for what they are, and are pretty ugly from stock, but they do sounds really good with an exhuast once your up it

Oh deary deary me.

What happened to, "Hey, I got my licence, now off to buy a sensible car so I can drive around in"

Now it's, "Dude, got my P's, I'll start a crap thread on Boost asking for the fastest P plate car, that way I can be a smear on the road or wrapped around a pole sooner"

I hardly think a fwd fto is a fast or dangerous car lol. More chance of that happening in a commodore in the wet.

ummmmmmmmm shows how little you know

over all its safer for a P-plater to be in a rwd than a fwd unless its a 4ws lol

i do agree with Darkness thuo. I live in SA where p-platers can drive turbos and v8 and been in the car seen and spend alot of nights out in my car in the city and hills and have found they spend more time in finding the fastest cat that they can get there hands and putting it around a pole or in a dich then finding a good car to drive thats cheep to run and good to get there skills up in

I have driven both the 4 and 6cly FTO and found there ok but rember there not cheep on parts and most of them are auto and auto sports cars a just fail
