Looks, handling and performance, Torana beats them all!!! This 1972 GTR Torana is in Factory original condition as it was supplied to the NSW Police force. Motor was rebuilt back to original specs and converted to run on unleaded in 2009. It has all the GTR XU1 upgrades that were common for Police GTRs. All parts on the vehicle match via numbers and casts dates with the exception of the gear box refitted in 1974 possibly by the police force. Cast numbers also match including original head 2811930. Diff housing and 99 per cent of this car have matching numbers right down to nuts and bolts. This includes the master cylinder number, original battery self-clamping leads, ignition coil, distributor, and spark leads. Has original sway bar fitted only to GTRs and LSD. The large brake booster with bracket is in correct position as fitted by Holden. The rear seat belts are original and the front ones were restored, the parcel tray, window and windscreen sun visor were standard equipment on police cars. The original keys come with the car as well as comprehensive file which include log books, brochures, receipts and much more. This is a genuine car restored back to its original state and is only ONE of Three genuine red on black GTRs left. This vehicle has been regularly featured at Police conventions and shows.
