im selling off my complete nissan gu patrol rd28ti motor, gearbox and other parts as ive done a td42 conversion
the motor only has about 350xxxkm on it which is low km for a diesel, still has heaps of life left runs and drives well, always serviced with quality fluids and never been abused at all.the only thing is It may need a new head gasket due to coolant mixing in the oil, its only a suspected head gasket failure as i never pulled the head off to confirm it as i just did a td42 conversion instead
the clutch is basicly brand New its done less then 2000km on it
its also got new glow plugs, and all new filters and new
egr blanking plate
it may need a new head gasket as the oil is milky. i can help sorce down a new gasket kit or possibly even a new head if your really fussy on it.
i have a video of it running for anyone that wants to see it running before purchase. it was taken just before it was sent in for the td42 conversion
I would rather sell it all together as a complete lot as i just havnt got the time or space to strip it down to part it out and chase people around.
complete with everything im looking for around $4000. negotiable. i know i could make more by selling parts seperatly, but i simply havnt got the time to strip it down.
it would be perfect for anyone needing another engine or wanting to build something up, as these engines are in high demand and wreckers charge $4.8k-6k for just the motor alone without half the bolt ons

its currently located in gippsland but will be back in the mornington peninsula next week
it will be located in Rye. you will need to have some way of transfering it into your car/trailer as i dont have an engine crane or anything. i can assist with local delivery for some extra fuel money but you would need to have some way of removing it from the trailer when i got it there
if your able to get it from gippsland i can assist with loading it as the workshop has a forklift and everything else
*engine complete with all bolt ons
*5 speed manual gearbox, basicly brand new clutch. excellent condition
*starter motor
*Factory Turbo
*injector pump
*EGR blanking plate
*dash cluster
*injectors
*have brand new oil filters to suit the rd28 motor to sell off aswell
*gearbox crossmembers
*alternator
*powersteering lines
*ac pump
*coolant overflow bottle, brand new only in the car for one week.
*Factory top mount intercooler with mounts and fan,
plus any other bits that are not required for the td42ti swap
