hello

what are all the parts need for a CA18DE-T conversion?
and whats involved in doing the turbo conversion?

so far i got

Injectors -100
2nd hand turbo 200-300
ECU - 50
brand new front mount full intercooler kit 350

what other stuff do i need?

oil lines, a clutch that'll handle the turbo.
and ya need to drop the compression of the non turbo block.
maybe a thicker head gasket will do the trick,

metal/thicker head gasket to sort out the compression ratio
exhaust manifold
flange
new exhaust system [and dump and front pipes]

probably more things, but im not thinking right at the moment.

Manifolds? Oil/Water lines? Fuel pump? You'll need to sort out an oil feed and return to your turbo as well.

Don't know if you can use a stock DET ecu on a DE. It'd probably be worth your while to track down a secondhand piggyback ECU (think E-manage, SAFC) for controlling fuel anyway.

Importbitz have a CA18DET long block with a HKS cams and some other goodies selling for less than 1400. Ask yourself how much of the work you are willing and able to do on your own, because CA18DETs are pretty damn cheap and there won't be much trouble at all in fitting it. McLeod even has a writeup on it somewhere around on the site.

id buy a ca18det if i were you, saves fuking around withyour ca18de you have all ready plus less work doin so

you could be right. but i dont want to buy a thrashed CA18DET (all the ca18det i seen are over 1300 )

i know i have great con engine its not be thrashed its runs 100% very smooth

plus if i mod my engine to ca18De-T

i can do more work , after market exhaust manifold , plus better turbo , front mount Intercooler Kit.
