Holy shit, very impressive conversion. Great looking e-series Falcon too! I'm surprised the bonnet closes over that big six.

    Cheers mate.

K-frame had to be cut & re-welded to fit sump, engine mounts modified to lower engine to clear bonnet, custom P/S and Air Con lines ...and a shed-load of electrics involved (Tacho adaptor, custom looms etc).

Looks like it was worth the hard work. I wouldn't mind building something like this as a daily.

    Cheers for the comments guys

Took about 4 years in the planning & building, but it was definitely worth it.

My goal was to have a sweet all-rounder, with nothing over-the-top & non-factory looking ...just something for me to enjoy driving at the weekends. It definitely brings a smile to my face every time I hop in it, lol.

I can forsee a gearbox change (T56 6-spd Manual or rebuilt T5) in the future, but will deal with that as & when it happens..

Hats off to the poor cunt that had to wire that!

Would be chalk and cheese compared to the old E series head gasket muncher.

Makes me wish I went down the DOHC path when I turbo'd my old ef, would have been much more reliable.

I bet it would go good being a bit lighter than a later model Falcon. Also like the styling in these, you don't see many clean E series xr6's on the road snymore.

Very nice, awesome conversion mate! thumbsup.gif bet it hammers with that F6 motor, big plus that the E-series is slightly lighter than B series XR's aswell. Always hold a soft spot for the EL XR6 something about that shape.

Btw, If the 5 speed gives way should have a look at a T56 six speed box, think Malwood Automotive would where to go. My BAII with the T56 and the Opt3+ clutch holds 342rwkw and its been a daily for 3 years at that power bowrofl.gif.

Yeah, the EL XR has always been my favourite shape ...and the aim was to have the best of a couple of generations in the one car. Plus it's something different.

And yep, a Mal Wood T56 is definitely on the cards..

Cheers for the comments mate ...good to see another boosted Ford on here thumbsup.gif

    Yes it does, lol

Sorry to say this, but the best thing is the look on a lot of HSV, GTR, and even FPV drivers' faces when I whoosh past them with a dose or 2 on the way through, lol ...love it rolleyes.gif

Not something most people would expect from a 16 year old Falcon..
