    I loved the shootout format - 1 lap at the end to sort out the final results. Good fun!

    it was a little "exciting" when the front left tyre blew just as I was about to turn onto the front straight... all I could do was get hard on the brakes and try to pull it up before the tyres. Then reversing along the tyre wall to get out of the firing line I reversed into the armco fence I didn't see due to a combination of roll cage, race seat and adrenaline pumping lol

    between that and the red EVO coming out of the pits and cutting straight accross to the racing line in the kink in front of me, the first session was action packed! Looks alot tamer on the video. I'll put it up on youtube after work.

    Berry's Advan GTR is the new treaded tyre record holder at Lakeside.

    I'm stoked to say my time (58.05) in the borrowed Evo5 (i have been informed) is the 5th fastest Evo time ever.... not too bad for 180KW smile.gif

    And massive hats off to Callum with a 58.3, seriously quick in that car. Great driving.

    congrats to blackmick for a new PB by 3 tenths in only 9 laps of track time. forgot to ask mick, did you manage to fix the wheel stud or just drive on 4?
