Yeah Ive cleaned mine before and they come up great but its because they are missing their protective layer that they go yellow again. This guy im looking for has a kit which contains a protective film you apply to the headlight.

Anyone know what his username is?????????

i have a 'wolfgang' headlight cleaning kit

works great!

the driving light on the left came up pretty well as u can see in the pic. You can buy the kit from www.waxit.com...Dave is very helpful and always keen to help out. The kit is easy to use and has 2 small polishing pads that attach to a drill but we ended up sticking them to a random orbital because i couldnt find the drill lol

Yeah, you can get it to look that good with cut and polish, I've dont it myself. But give it 2 months and its back the same again. The difference with this product is, a clear layer is provided to stop the light going back to its yellowish colour...thats why I want it smile.gif

Yeah the product I used had a very fine sandpaper and some polish. But the plastic was a smoky white from all the fine scratches and certainly didn't look the same as after I added the protective layer. Cut and polish alone wouldn't have got the same result as this.

This is what it looked like after I applied the polish and was just about to add the the clear coat.

You may not be able to see it very well, but the plastic was a very hazy white and you could see all the scratches on the plastic from the sanding down. The clear coat filled all the very fine holes and gave it that new look.. that's the difference between cut polish and this stuff.

No you cant. That stuff is not for road use. Crystalite is ADR approved.
