Sellers Description
Time has come to sell an old hobbie of mine, if the right buyer comes along. Car has around 30K spent on it and all work has been done to create a reliable and quick car. I've owned the car from being a complete stock car to what it is now and have most of the receipts. Very neat and well looked after custom Turbo setup. It has a Garett 450hp turbo.
Engine has been fully rebuilt with forged pistons, intense rods, Double row Timing chain, Intense stage 3 cam. 42lb Injectors.
TH700 Auto transmission has been fully rebuilt & corvet servo. Other mods are 3 inch exhaust, 17inch Advanti Rims, k&n air filter, stereo with 2 x 12" subs, sports seats, sports steering wheel and Greddy Boost controller. A few other parts not installed are 3.9 Diff gears LSD and lowering king springs.
Currently making 180rwkw which does seem quite low for all the mods, but the auto does drain powered compared to manuals, but makes it very nice to drive.
Major work completed by Bob Hawkins at Chiptorque Townsville and has modification plates to suit.
Car has 2 boost settings, 8psi and 14psi. Never has run more then 14psi and never sees full boost.
The engine was designed to allow for 18psi boost, and with installing a larger turbo, its expected the power levels would rise considerably.
Engine has less then 20 000ks on it, is the easiest car to drive and is the best sounding V6. Easily could be a daily driver.
