My son did a number on the van a few days ago. The vans dead. This is a sad day..
Vans been in the family for 15 years. 140,000 klm ago complete engine rebuild top to bottom all new parts heads valves bearings, pistons etc etc. Engine and drive chain is super sweet and still functional / intact. Has rear seat with safety belts and blue plate compliance. See pre crash picture. Was running so nice before the accident.
The van spent a few years unregistered on the farm before we prepared it last October for my son as his first car - we made sure everything was right.
The following was completed less than 8,000 klm ago:
Brand new radiator / cap $317 Brand new made drive shaft $541 5 brand new tires LT 145 / R12 $$410 New timing belt kit $120 New coil $40 New battery and clamps $125 6 Brand new brake cylinders $203 New rear brake shoes $34 Brand new carby kit Miser 506 $55 New air cleaner $25 New window flocking $30 New front headlamps $40 New carpet underlay throughout $84 Axle seal $15 2 Brand new front flexi brake lines $90 New alternator bushes New Air cleaner transition boot.
Engine runs super sweet. Oil changes were every 5,000 klm. Gearbox and diff have new oil - all working extremely well. I could not guess how much time was spent on it. New paint job also, not that means much now. Did not even have first cut and polish.
This would suit a person looking for good quality parts. All the damage appears to be left hand side roof section.
Not sure - but think it can be driven onto trailer at a pinch if required. Rolls fine.
Suit wrecking or spare parts for carry van enthusiast. Pick up only NAMBOUR.
Have more pictures if required. I would prefer not to wreck myself. To painful. Prefer to see it gone.
